Seminar Castle Maurik

Logi-Search, established in 1999, is the search and recruitment organization for top positions in supply chain and logistics management.

We speak the language of our trade. We regularly network with leading scientists and professors, have frequent contact with the relevant professional organizations, and - last but not least - keep in touch with the specialists themselves on a daily basis. We are therefore a vital link between businesses and logistics experts, ensuring a perfect match for both sides. This takes place with the help of our extensive database of candidates, as well as via a 'custom-made' search of the marketplace using a job and personality profile formulated together with our customers.

Candidates/Jobs

Logi-Search recruits university or higher vocational graduates with at least four years experience in a logistics and/or supply chain environment. Candidates undergo a thorough selection procedure to evaluate their professional expertise, management qualities and experience, and – crucially - their personal qualities. Thanks to our insight, wealth of experience and valuable professional network, we can effectively match this information with the right vacancy.

We focus on the supply chain, operations, business development, senior engineering, purchasing, and demand management sectors; all of which increasingly affect the performance ratio of businesses. Our network is also of considerable interest to specialised interim managers.

Approach

Our General Terms and Conditions form the basis for our working agreements. In addition, issues like joint roles and responsibilities, timeframe and job profile will always be confirmed in writing beforehand so you know exactly what to expect.

Vacancies are discussed with our clients, together with the fine details of their organisation. Making contact with the future supervisor and colleagues of the candidate is also important. If not already available, a clear profile of the vacancy and/or candidate is drawn up.

We then make a selection based on the function requirements as well as the 'fit' between the individual and business culture. After 6 to 8 weeks, two or three people from a 'long list' of potential candidates will be recommended. We also promise to carry out a new search free of charge if all candidates are deemed unsuitable (see General Terms and Conditions for details). It is our intention to build and maintain long-term relationships with our clients. By working together repeatedly on various projects, we can create a reservoir of knowledge and experience which enables greater speed and even better results. Commitment, sincerity and mutual trust are the building blocks of this continuity.

Database/Network

Logi-Search has many thousands of registered candidates on file, whose personal information is continually updated. Over 80% of candidates have been assessed through personal interviews. Our market knowledge and professional expertise are continually kept up-to-date via membership of relevant important professional organisations such as NDL (the Netherlands as Distributing country), VLM (Association for Logistics Management) and EVO (Own Transportation Organization), as well as frequent participation in national and international seminars and symposiums.

Another important source of information is the yearly seminar we organise in Castle ‘Maurick’ in Vught, the Netherlands. This event is very well attended by a select group of clients, high potentials and specialists, who attend presentations on new developments and on the importance of controlling process management from the boardroom.

Clients/Geography

We work for a large number of Dutch and non-Dutch organizations, active in extremely diverse industry sectors and geographical regions. Clients include multinationals with distributed production centres, logistics service providers, IT specialists and wholesale organizations. Our main market is currently the Benelux, but the demand from other EU countries is steadily growing.

Personal Profile Analysis (PPA)

The PPA analysis is a very ingenious and proven psycho-technical tool for quantifying the behavioural pattern of people in work situations. It is not a test. It generates insight into candidates’ self-perception and behaviour under pressure, as well as determining how they are regarded by others. This makes it an important indicator of whether someone is suitable for a specific position.

STA Analysis/ PPA-STA comparison

With the help of the STA analysis, the behavioural characteristics required for a position are fleshed out on the basis of 24 criteria, assessed by one or more managers. The PPA-STA comparison then provides an indication of the 'fit' between person and function.

We use the above tools in close collaboration with our customers.
